Urban Abode Apartment 1 - Taipei

The location is a total win! It's super close to the main train station, making day trips so easy, plus there are plenty of shops and food stalls right outside. I really enjoyed having a spacious apartment, which was great for traveling with a toddler-lots of room to move around, and having a washer/dryer was a lifesaver.

Now for the downsides. The cleanliness didn’t meet my expectations; dusty shelves and some questionable stains in the kitchen and bathroom were not cool. The bed was way too soft and wobbly, which made for uncomfortable nights. There were also a bunch of mosquitoes buzzing around, despite the nets. Definitely not the best experience overall!

My apartment had a handy kitchenette. The staff was very amiable and flexible and the owner too.

I loved the great location right atop the main station, making it so easy to explore nearby eateries and access transit. The room offered everything I needed, and I could even see Taipei 101 from the window. A bit noisy at night, but overall, I'd recommend this place.

The spacious apartment featured a stunning view of Taipei 101, making my mornings good as I sipped coffee while gazing at the iconic skyline. The location in Zhongzheng District was perfect, with easy access to restaurants and the Taipei Metro.

A minor drawback was the somewhat confusing elevator system; not every elevator serviced all floors, which added a bit of inconvenience to my comings and goings.

Would recommend for a short interlude

Spacious room, convenient location, the staff was helpful with our early arrival and assisted in coordinating with airport staff for our delayed baggage.

Urban Abode Apartment 1 was an excellent choice for my transit stay in Taipei. Its prime location, just a 5-minute walk from Taipei Main Station, made it convenient for catching my next train. The modern amenities, including a kitchenette, allowed me to prepare meals easily, enhancing my comfort during my brief visit.

While my overall experience was good, I found the cleanliness could be slightly improved; there was a small issue with a hair in the dryer drawer upon check-in.

Excellent location near Taipei Main Station, spacious room with a great view of Taipei 101, easy self-check-in process, accommodating staff, and convenient amenities including a kitchenette and washer. Close to restaurants and shops, plus Netflix for entertainment.

The room was spacious, but the shower flooded every time I used it.

We loved the spacious setup and quick access to the metro just a minute away. Despite some minor issues like drainage smells and a few mosquitoes, the area was convenient, with stores nearby.

The location is unbeatable! Just a quick walk from the main station, and you can see Taipei 101 right from the window. The room was clean and well-equipped with a laundry machine and microwave. Plus, the self-check-in was super easy. My late arrival was no hassle at all 😊

The entry method for accessing the apartment is through key codes on social media, which can be a hassle without internet!!! More cookware would greatly improve the kitchen experience, as there's only a single pot available!!!
